The Profiles Series hosted by Lou Gossett Jr. Announces the production of a Special Program on America's Colleges and Universities as part of its "Making the Grade: An Educational State of the Union" series.

With concerns mounting over America's ability to remain a competitive force in the ever evolving global workforce in this new millennium, The Profiles Series is producing a special edition program focusing on America's colleges and universities.

Senior Producer Ed Shaland says "This program will profile the institutions and show how they are vital in educating the workforce force of the 21st Century"

"Making the Grade: An Educational State of the Union" will showcase the nations finest higher learning institutions and the steps they're taking to keep their students competitive, providing them the cutting-edge skills and real-world knowledge they need to lead America, and the rest of the world into the future.

Walter Waiters Executive Producer of the series says "we will show how campus life, extra curricular activities and academics prepare students to productive in our society".

Segments of the series will take a close look at the ways in which those in academia have had to advance their curriculum and methods in order to keep pace with the unique demands of this new age, and how those changes are benefiting their students, as well as getting a pulse on the perspective of the average student, and how they see their continuing education being able to give them a competing edge.
