The Profiles
Series, Announces "Special Program" on "Solar
Energy" as Part of its "Environmental Spotlight"
In light of rising
fuel cost "The Profiles Series's is producing a special
edition program on Solar Energy Technologies.
In light of the
President's "Solar America Initiative" and rising
fuel cost The Profiles Series is producing a special edition
program on Solar Energy Technologies. The program will focus
on the benefits of solar power and will be target the general
public as well as industry. Associate Producer Ed Shaland
says, "Over the past decade the solar industry has been
primed for this type of initiative and we are committed to
helping to increase the awareness and acceptance of solar
by informing and educating our viewers nationwide."
The Profiles Series
will take a closer look at how America can reduce its dependency
on foreign oil, through technological breakthroughs and the
use of solar power commercially as well as residentially.
Shaland says "The segments will focus on how solar technologies
use the sun's energy and light to provide heat, light, hot
water, electricity, and even cooling, for homes, businesses,
and industry". Executive Producer Walter Waiters says "I
have always known that the time would come when Americans
would have to seriously consider solar energy and I believe
that the time is now."
The Profiles Series
is dedicated to showcasing the most important issues of the
day. The program covers all the information that you need
to know to keep up with today's innovative ideas and emerging
advancements.
